Nevada General Election 2024

We are proud to announce that QVegas has joined a consortium of 10 other LGBTQ+ newsrooms across the country to form the Queer News Network to provide upcoming election coverage.

From October 1 to November 12, participating newsrooms will identify candidates and contribute content to a comprehensive news site, queernn.com, which will serve as a central hub for queer voters and their allies across the U.S.

QNN is recruiting students from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, which will also help establish a student newsroom for the election.

Alongside QVegas, QNN is governed by two other newsrooms: LOOKOUT in Arizona, and Q Voice News in California.

Participating newsrooms are in four different regions:

West: Q Voice News (Los Angeles, CA), LOOKOUT (Arizona), QVegas (Las Vegas, NV), Seattle Lesbian (Seattle, WA)

Central: Illinois Eagle (Illinois), The Gayly (Oklahoma), Queerency (National)

South: Queer Kentucky (Kentucky), OUT South Florida (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Northeast: QBurgh (Pittsburgh, PA), Buckeye Flame (Ohio)

QNN’s website will launch on Oct. 1, with overview coverage, and specific candidate coverage beginning the week of October 15. Sign up to get notified of the website launch at queernn.com

Note: QNN will replace the QVegas Voter Guide for the 2024 General Election.

The QVegas Voter Guide aspires to become the most comprehensive source of data for LGBTQ+ voters in Nevada. This is not an endorsment guide, rather, a tool for you to make informed choices when voting. Because we aggregate data from multiple sources, you may see more than one candidate for the same race. Viewing the candidate's profile page will show additional information, including third-party endorsements from trusted organizations, as well as candidates that identify as LGBTQ+.

The 2024 General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5.

Early voting begins on Saturday, October 19 and runs through Friday, November 1.

Third Party Endorsements

The QVegas Candidate Database includes aggregated data from the following organizations:

Please visit these organization websites for any additional information about their endorsements.

QVegas does not endorse any candidate. We publish a voter guide that aggregates information from publicly available sources that we trust to endorse candidates that are in the best interest of the LGBTQ+ community.
